These tiny pugs are perfect to give as gifts, or even to make up as party favors (if you can manage to part with the adorableness once you are finished!). And, our Pocket Pug kit comes packaged in an adorable cupcake box, complete with a handle on top, and would make a delightful gift for you knitting friend, too. You can also use the pattern to make multiple sizes of pug, depending on what weight yarn you use, as illustrated in the last photo. This kit includes the materials you need to knit 2 petite pugs in the round:
Intermediate Knitting Pattern with download link for the pdf version of the pattern
100% Wool Fingering Weight Yarn in 2 colors
Two sets of 6mm safety eyes
Two 8mm safety noses
Polyester Stuffing

All you will need to complete your pudgy friend is a US Size 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle, a tapestry needle, 22 removable stitch markers, and scissors! If you want to get fancy you can also use two US size 1 double pointed needles for I-cord, but they're totally optional. If you are a tighter knitter you might be more comfortable using US Size 2 (2.75mm) needles instead. Please note we do offer that you can add a set of stitch markers in a small tin to your kit for only $6. These markers are perfect for our small fingering kits! It includes 24 removable markers and 4 closed, snag-free shaped markers for the beginning of the round all in a cute little tin. Finished pugs are approximately 1.5" tall and 2.75" long.

The kit will come complete with a printed version of the pattern, but there will also be a download code on your pattern for the pdf version of the pattern. The download is through Ravelry.com, but you do not need a ravelry account to download the pattern. The pattern is designed by author and designer Rebecca Danger, known for her whimsical monster and creature knitting patterns.
