Halloween is our complete favorite holiday here at Wicked Chickens Yarn, so we thought long and hard about what Halloween patterns to bring out this year. Though we came up with many ideas, this knitted pocket zombie was tops on our list for awesomeness. So we decided he had to be one of are Halloweeny friends this year! We also think he looks a little bit like Frankenstein, so that is a double win. How cute is this guy going to look tucked in with all of your Halloween decorations this year?

These undead little zombies are perfect to give as gifts, or even to make up as party favors (if you can manage to part with the adorableness once you are finished!). These guys would also make a nice sugar-free treat for a traditionally sugar-fueled holiday! Plus this is a quick and fun knit and you will find yourself making a whole house full of little-knitted brain-loving zombies! You can also use the pattern to make multiple sizes of zombies, depending on what weight yarn you use as illustrated in the last photo. We know, you didn't think this pattern could get any better, but it totally did once you found out you could knit all kinds of sizes of zombies. That "Buy Now" button is right there up to your right...

Gauge: You pick! Simply knit with your choice of yarn on needles 2-3 sizes smaller than called for to get a tight knit fabric your stuffing won't show through.

Needles: You pick! A 40" or longer circular needle (for Magic Loop Method) in a size right for your yarn.

Notions: Scissors, tapestry needle, beginning of the round stitch marker (removable or closed), optional row counter, 8 removable stitch markers, stuffing, a small amount of black for embroidering missing eye, and one safety eye (or other eye choice such as buttons or scrap yarn for embroidery).

Finished size: Your finished size will depend on what weight yarn you use. The sock weight yarn samples measure about 4” tall with 6mm safety eyes. The worsted weight sample measure approximately 6” tall with 9mm safety eyes.
